Wade Jones began playing the piano when he was ten years old in his hometown of Dayton, Ohio. First studying classical music, he later became interested in jazz. This interest led him to earn his Bachelor of Music degree specializing in Jazz Piano Performance from The Ohio State University. 

Since graduating, he has been the Musical Director and Arranger for the original play, Cool For Cole, a Cole Porter revue, he was interim choral accompanist at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus, Ohio, and he worked for many years as the choral accompanist at North Unitarian Universalist Congregation. 

In addition to teaching privately, he has performed at many local venues including Nationwide Children's Hospital, Hyde Park Grill, Eddie Merlot's, Hilton Easton, Mezzo Italian, to name a few.
